We welcomed little Gabe, Friday, August 5th around 3:45 am.
He was 10 lbs 2 oz and 23 inches long.
Labor was short--5 hours! I always find postpartum and recovery a lot harder for me than pregnancy, labor, and delivery--but we are doing well and taken care of by Eric, my mom and Livy.
Pictures to come later.

Rach! Congrats on your new little man. I can't wait to see pictures.
He looked adorable on the one you sent. I know you're tired so I'm sorry I missed you tonight but I'll try again in a few days. Congrats!!!
Congrats!! Yay for a big boy--we are way excited for your little family of five now! Enjoy him and get some rest.
That's amazing! Congratulations. Can't wait to see some pictures!
Congratulations CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations!!! I know you were a goddess and a warrior during your wonderfully short labor! And yes - postpartum is hard for me also - it's the no-sleeping part that gets me. I'm hear to commiserate anytime you're ready for a phone date :). So glad your loved ones are there to take care of you, now - enjoy your new baby boy! Love, M
So glad he is here! Congrats! I am glad you have help taking care of that big guy. My girl is one month and just hit 8lbs. It makes perfect sense that a 10lb baby would make for a little longer recovery. Can't wait to see pics. Wish I was closer so I could have the girls over to play!
So excited little Gabe is here! I love his name btw and I can't wait to see pics of the little guy. You are amazing b/c I'm not sure I could deliver a 10 pounder. Hope your recovery is going well and that you are feeling more like your old self every day. Love and miss you!
Congratulations!! Hope recovery goes speedy!
